Vintage 1928 Photo of the Stutz Black Hawk of Brisson and Bloch at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

This is a vintage photograph of the Nr 1 Stutz Black Hawk (Bearcat) of Edouard Brisson and Robert Bloch during a daytime pitstop at the 1928 24 heures du Mans (or the 6th Grand Prix d'Endurance as it was officially called back then).

Brisson and Block would go on to score a second place in the race, a mere 1 lap behind the winners Woolf Barnato and Bernard Rubin in their Bentley 4½ Litre.

Please note that this is VINTAGE photo, printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

Dimensions: approximately 5 x 3.5 inches or 12 x 9 cm.

Decent condition for its age but, as visible in the scan, there is paper loss in the corners.

The race was won by Woolf Barnato and Bernard Rubin in their Bentley 4½ Litre with a total of 2669 km to their name.
