Vintage 1949 Le Mans Handbill / Flyer.
These flyers were handed out at the race to spectators to show them around the track.
Very scarce as most of them were tossed away after the race or disappeared into the mists of time.
VERY good condition for its age.
The flyer is some 24.75 cm tall (9.75 inches) and each page is some 10.4 cm (4.1) inches) wide, making for a total width of 52 cm (20.5 inches) when fully unfolded.
The 1949 edition was the first post WW2 24 Heures du Mans and it was won by Luigi Chinetti (with Lord Selsdon) in their Ferrari 166 MM Touring Barchetta S/N 0008MM with a total of 235 laps to their name.
