Unique set of 3 autographed ceramic tiles Audi 24 Hours of Le Mans winning Team 2000.
Here we have a VERY special set of Le Mans items.
The gentleman from whom we acquired this unique set did as follows:
During the team presentation for the 2000 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours, he shot photos of the #7, #8 and #9 Audi R8's.
He consequently had these photos reproduced on ceramic tiles, each measuring some 10 x 8 inches or 25 x 20 cm.
During the driver parade in downtown Le Mans on the Friday preceding the race, he managed to get ALL 9 Audi drivers to put their autographs on the relevant tile (with black markers).
Little did he know that these were the cars and drivers that would finish 1-2-3 in the race!
We recently acquired this fantastic set from him (which is truly unique of course) and are proud to be able to offer it for sale now.

The race was won by Frank Biela, Tom Kristensen and Emanuele Pirro in their # 8 Audi R8R-2000 with a total of 368 laps to their name.
This poster is part of the "Mythic inspiration of the race" era.

This poster caused the most fuss in the history of the event! It is the official poster, created shortly before the race to replace the posters that were withdrawn because of their negative and confusing content. This original illustration enables the viewer to guess that there is a car on the track merely by its lights alone. It is a strong image that reinforces the myth and legend of the 24 Hours.
This poster will be shipped, rolled, in a sturdy tube.

Reynard 2KQ Chrysler Theys Andre Hooydonk 24 Hours of Le Mans 2000 Spirit Slotcar.
This 1/32nd scale slotcar, made by Spirit of Spain, is a wonderfully detailed replica of the Reynard 2KQ-LM Volkswagen as entered by MOPAR Team Oreca and raced by Didier Theys, Jeffrey van Hooydonck and Didier André during the 2000 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The trio finished the race in 20th position with a total of 292 laps to their name.
