April 18 & 19, 1964.

This poster advertised the "4eme Criterium International de Vitesse Motocycliste 300 - 500 cc" which was of course a motorcycle race AND the tests / qualifying sessions for the upcoming 24 Heures du Mans.
The artwork shows an artist impression (by Beligond) of a motorcycle racing side by side with a Ferrari sportscar.
The race itself was won by Jean Guichet & Nino Vaccarella in their # 20 Ferrari 275P (S/N 0816) with a total of 4695 KM to their name.

Vintage 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans Race Program.
Good condition for its age.
The cover shows the start of the 1963 race with plenty of Ferraris hurtling down the start-finish straight towards the Dunlop Bridge.
It measures some 21 x 27 cm and counts 112 pages which are filled to the brim with information on the cars, the race and of course great period advertising.
The booklets also served as a ticket in the grand prize draw and, consequently, they were individually numbered; this one being 006892 but it might be a little late to claim your prize now...
The race was won by Jean Guichet & Nino Vaccarella in their # 20 Ferrari 275P (S/N 0816) with a total of 4695 KM to their name.
Vintage 1964 Le Mans Race Handbill.
These flyers were handed out at the race to spectators to show them around the track.
Very scarce as most of them were tossed away after the race or disappeared into the mists of time.
The cover matches the 1964 race poster.
Mint condition!
It measures 5.4 x 8.4 inches and unfolds to 21.6 x 8.4 inches.
Vintage 1964 Le Mans 24 Hours Pits Ticket of Wilkie Wilkinson.
EXTREMELY RARE!
This is the original badge worn by Wilkie Wilkinson (co-founder of Ecurie Ecosse) during the 1964 24 Heures du Mans.
For this race, Wilkie was present to co-manage the Maranello Consessionaires entries which consisted of the # 14 Ferrari 330P of Graham Hill & Joakim Bonnier (S/N 0818) which finished second and the # 25 Ferrari 250 GTO (S/N 4399GT) of Innes Ireland & Tony Maggs which finished 6th.
A GREAT piece of Le Mans history that came from the estate of Wilkie Wilkinson!
Vintage 1964 photo of Ferrari 330P S/N 0818 at Le Mans 24 Hours Geoffrey Goddard.
This is a vintage photo taken during the 1964 running of the Le mans 24 hours, showing the Ferrari 330 P of Graham Hill and Joakim Bonnier.
The car was owned and entered by Maranello Concessionaires from the UK and would finish the race in second place.
The photo shows Graham Hill hurdling down the Les Hunaudieres straight at full speed.
The car was later sold to Dick Protheroe in 1966 and it is the same car in which he would have his fatal accident on April 28, 1966 while practicing for the TT at Oulton Park.
The car was written off and scrapped after this accident.
It measures approximately 29 x 20 cm or 12 x 8 inches.
It carries the stamp of Geoffrey Goddard on the back.

This is a vintage photo taken during the 1964 running of the Le Mans 24 hours, showing the Ferrari 330 P of Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes.
The car was a Scuderia Ferrari factory entry and would drop out of the race in lap 71 due to oilpump problems.
The car, S/N 0820 now seems to reside in the USA.
The photo measures approximately 25 x 16.5 cm or 9.75 x 6.5 inches.

This is a vintage 1964 photo of the Ferrari 275 / 330 P of John Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini in the pits during the 1964 running of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The duo would finish the race in third place.
The car survives to this day and now seems to reside in France.
The photo measures some 25 x 20 cm or 10 x 8 inches, is in near mint condition and carries the stamp of "Motor" on the back.
