This is an original arm band worn during the 1956 24 Heures du Mans by a mechanic in charge of refueling.
For this race, Wilkie was the team manager (and co-founder) of Ecurie Ecosse who won the race with their Jaguar D-Type, driven by Ron Flockhart & Ninian Sanderson.
