This is a vintage 1961 colour photo of the Luigi Chinetti entered Ferrari 250 TRI 61 of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill en route to victory in the 1961 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.

In the photo, we see Phill Hill taking off after a pitstop. It is probably late in the afternoon of Saturday June 10, 1961 as the it is still quite light and the car only has some minor rock chips on its bodywork (how lovely it is to discover such details on a COLOR photo!).

The car, which bears race number 10 here is S/N 0794TR seems to reside in the USA since the early 1980's.

The photo measures some 9 x 9 cm or 3.5 x 3.5 inches and carries the copyright stamp of L.R.P.

It is in mint condition.
