This is a vintage 1964 photo of the famous # 16 Jaguar E-Type (XKE) Lightweight of Peter Lindner and Peter Nocker during the 1964 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The car dropped out of the race in lap 149 with a blown head gasket.
