The poster shows a fantastic image, by Beligond, of a # 2 Ferrari coming through the Esses.
Measures approximately:16 x 23 inches41 x 58 cm
Mint condition for its age !
The race was won by Olivier Gendebien & Phill Hill in their # 6 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM (S/N 0780 TR / 0808TR) with a total of 331 laps to their name.

Scarce as most of them did not survive the race.
The cover matches the 1965 race poster.
Good condition but has been folded horizontally.
It measures 5.4 x 8.4 inches and unfolds to 21.6 x 8.4 inches.
Vintage 1962 COLOR photo of Ferrari 330 TRI LM # 0808 at Le Mans 1962.
This is a vintage 1962 colour photo of the factory entered Ferrari 330 TRI LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill en route to victory in the 1962 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.
In the photo, we see Olivier getting a hand to climb over the pit wall after his stint. Taking all aspects into account (like the shadows, the dirt on the car etc) this photo was taken around 11 o'clock in the morning of June 24, 1962 (how lovely it is to discover such details on a COLOR photo!).
The car, which bears race number 6 here is S/N 0808 (previously 0780TR, a 250 TR 60, which frame was lengthened, a Fantuzzi body was mounted and equipped with a 4 Liter 390 HP V12 engine) and which seems to reside in the USA now.
The photo measures some 9 x 9 cm or 3.5 x 3.5 inches and carries the copyright stamp of L.R.P.
It is in mint condition.

This is a vintage 1962 colour photo of the factory entered Ferrari 330 TRI LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill at the very start of the 1962 running of the 24 Heures du Mans which they would win.
In the photo, we see the VERY start of the race where Phil Hill makes an athletic jump into the car so it was taken at 4 o'clock in the afternoon of June 23, 1962.
The gentlemen would not finish the race as the gearbox gave up the ghost after 174 laps...
The car in question is the 246 SP S/N 0796 which was later modified to serve as a mule for the Tipo 250 P and was scrapped in 1963.
The photo is in excellent condition.
It measures some 24 x 18 cm or 9.5 x 7 inches and carries the stamp of the photographer on the back.

This is a vintage 1962 photo of the # 8 Jaguar E-Type (XKE) of Maurice Charles and John Coundley prior to the start of the 1962 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The car dropped out of the race in lap 53 due to engine failure.

This is a vintage & original photo of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of Jean Kerguen prior to the start of the 1962 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Kerguen teamed up with "Franc" for the race and the duo managed 134 laps before the headgasket gave way...
It measures some 7 x 5 inches (17.5 x 12.5 cm) and is black & white.
This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

1962 Le Mans 24 Hours Koni News Bulletin.
This is vintage July 1962 news bulletin issued by Dutch shock absorber manufacturer to advertise their successes in the 1962 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hour race.
The front shows a great shot of the later winner, the # 6 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill, side by side with the later overall second, the # 19 Ferrari 250 GTO of Pierre Noblet and Jean Guichet.
In the 1962 edition of the 24 Heures du Mans, not less than 62 started of which only 18 made it to the finish of which a staggering 10 were equipped with Koni!
The back shows some more photo's of Koni-equipped contenders: the # 22 Ferrari GTO which finished 3rd, the # 9 Jaguar Lightweight E-Type that finished 5th, # 34 Porsche 356 B Abarth that finished 7th and the # 39 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sport Zagato SVZ that finished 10th.
This single sheet, double-sided, bulletin is dated July 17, 1962 and measures some 8 x 11 inches.

This is vintage 1962 news bulletin issued by Dutch shock absorber manufacturer to advertise their successes in the 1962 race season.
The inside shows the Koni-equipped cars in various races such as The 1000 KM Race at the Nurburgring, the 10th East Africa Rally, the Tour de France Auto, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 1000 KM of Paris.
The bulletin measures some 6 x 8.5 inches and opens up to 12 x 8.5 inches.

Issued by Le Maine Libre, a local Le Mans newspaper, it shows pictures of all 75 previous winners of the Le Mans 24 Hour race.
