Alfa Romeo at the 24 Heures du Mans
This is a vintage photo taken during the 1938 running of the Le Mans 24 hours, showing the privately entered Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Touring of Clemente Biondetti & Raymond Sommer before the car got a puncture, crashed as a result of that and overrevved the engine in the process but not after having set the fastest lap at 5:13.8, averaging 154.783 km/h...
The photo measures approximately 18 x 15 cm or 7 x 6 inches.
This is vintage print i.e. printed at around the time that the photo was taken, NOT a modern print !
The race was won by Eugéne Chaboud and Jean Trémoulet in their Delahaye 135 CS with a total of 3180 km to their name.

Vintage Original 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans Blotter by Geo Ham.
This is a vintage 1953 blotter, issued by Magdeleine Biscottes, with a scene from the 1953 running of the 24 Heures de Mans by the great Geo Ham.
It measures some 16 x 16 cm or 6.5 x 6.5 inches and is in near mint condition for its age.
This blotting paper came as a give-away with Magdeleine Biscuits from the Magdeleine company in Granville, France and only very few have survived.
It shows a scene of the winning Jaguar C-Type of Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton leading the Alfa Romeo 6C 3000CM of Consalvo Sanesi and Piero Carini through the Esses.
The race was won by Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton in their Jaguar C-Type with a total of 304 laps to their name.

Vintage 1973 Photo of Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 Nr 60 Facetti Pam Zeccoli at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This is a vintage & original photo of the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 (S/N 11572-002) of Escuderia Brescia Corse, driven by Carlo Facetti, "Pam" & Teodoro Zeccoli.
The trio manged a 15th place with a total of 299 laps to their name.
It measures some 4.5 x 3.5 inches (12 x 8 cm), is black & white and has a typical 1970's "ragged edge" finish.
This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.
