The couple finished on a shared 19th place (together with the La Lorraine Dietrich of Bloch-Stalter) with a total of 1.519 kms to their name.

We also happend to come across a very rare sales leaflet of the Berliet 12HP. We throw this leaflet in as a bonus for the buyer of this VERY rare Le Mans item.

Vintage Photo of 1927 Bentley crash at Le Mans.

This is a vintage photograph of the # 1 & # 2 Bentleys after the famous crash at Maison Blanche (or White House in English) which also involved the # 3 Bentley of Dudley Benjafield and Sammy Davis.

In lap 34, all three factory entered Bentleys crashed together at White House, putting the # 1 (Old Mother Gun, to the right in this photograph) of Frank Clement and Leslie Callingham & # 2, the 3 Liter Sport (Old No. 7, to the left in this photograph) of Andre d'Erlanger and George Duller, out of the race.

The third car, the # 3 of Benjafield & Davis could be repaired by its drivers and went on to win the race with an amazing 21 laps (!) lead over the second placed Salmson GS of Andre de Victor & J. Hasley.

Please note that this is VINTAGE photo, NOT a reproduction of ANY kind but that the exact age is unknown!

Vintage 1929 Photo of # 11 Bentley 4.5 litre Howe / Rubin at Le Mans.

This is a vintage 1929 photograph of the # 11 Bentley 4,5 litre of Bernard Rubin and Lord Howe in the pits at the 1929 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Please note that this is VINTAGE photo, NOT a reproduction of ANY kind!

The car retired after having completed a mere 7 laps (some 115 km) with ignition problems. Judging by the fact that the hood is open on the photo, that there is not too much activity around the car itself and that the photo is clearly taken at daytime, this is probably the moment that the car was actually retired from the race.

Dimensions: approximately 5 x 3.5 inches or 13 x 9 cm.

Decent, albeit a bit rough condition but a truly unique private snapshot of this important car at an equally important event.

Only 1 pc. available of course.

Vintage 1965 photo of Lorenzo Bandini at Le Mans.

This is a vintage photo of Lorenzo Bandini in the paddock of the 24 Heures du Mans prior to the 1965 race in somewhat humbler transportation than one would expect... a Peugeot 404 Berline in this case (presumably a rental as the license plates shows it is registered in Paris).

In the background we see the trucks of Maranello Concessionaires from England with the Ferrari 250 LM (S/N 5895) still on top of it.

Lorenzo would drive the Ferrari factory entered Ferrari 275P2 (S/N 0832) together with Giampiero Biscaldi but unfortunately had to retire the car after 221 laps with valve problems.

The photo measures some 12.5 x 9 cm or 5 x 3.5 inches.
