This is a vintage 1953 brochure, issued by Jaguar to celebrate the vistory of Tony Rolt & Duncan Hamilton in their Jaguar C-Type at the 24 Heures du Mans.
A great period piece issued by a major manufacturer!
The brochure measures some 18 x 13 cm (or 7 x 5 inches) and folds open to 4 times that format.
Other than a pencilled "1953" on the back, it is in mint condition!

Vintage Original 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans Blotter by Geo Ham.
This is a vintage 1953 blotter, issued by Magdeleine Biscottes, with a scene from the 1953 running of the 24 Heures de Mans by the great Geo Ham.
It measures some 16 x 16 cm or 6.5 x 6.5 inches and is in near mint condition for its age.
This blotting paper came as a give-away with Magdeleine Biscuits from the Magdeleine company in Granville, France and only very few have survived.
It shows a scene of the winning Jaguar C-Type of Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton leading the Alfa Romeo 6C 3000CM of Consalvo Sanesi and Piero Carini through the Esses.
The race was won by Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton in their Jaguar C-Type with a total of 304 laps to their name.

Vintage 1956 photo of the start of the 24 Heures du Mans.
This is a vintage 1956 photo of the start of the 1956 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It was taken only a fraction of a second after the flag dropped and the drivers are running across the track towards their cars which, in those years, were lined up in front of the pits boxes.
Clearly visible are the first 6 cars which are:

The photo measures some 14 x 9 cm or 4.5 x 3.5 inches.
The back carries the copyright holder's stamp.

Original 1987 24 Hours of Le Mans Program Booklet.
This is an original 1987 24 heures Heures du Mans Programme Officiel.
The cover follows the design of the 1987 Le Mans poster and features the same color image of the Nr 5 Jaguar XJR-8 LM (S/N 286) of Jan Lammers / Win Percy / John Watson during practice.
The booklet measures some 19 x 27 cm and counts 86 pages which are filled to the brim with info on the race, the cars, the drivers and contemporary advertising.
Unused with blank lap timing sheets but some minor shelf wear to the cover.
The race was won by Hans-Joachim Stuck / Derek Bell / Al Holbert in their Nr 17 Porsche 962 C with a total of 354 laps to their name.
